- Airline checked luggage fee ($30 to $50)
- Travel Cancellation and Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance ( recommended, estimated cost $200 to $400, purchase through Allianz Travel Insurance)
- Tips for Cuban guide and driver (estimated $40)
- Tips for lodging staff (estimated $40)
- Food and beverages ordered in excess of provided meal and beverages
- Activities beyond established group itinerary
- Transportation beyond established group itinerary

NOTE: Airline tickets have been reserved through a group travel reservation. Tickets have been pre-purchased for travel from Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) to Havana (HAV). HOWEVER participants can depart from an airport besides MSP. A revised reservation will be arranged by Tesca Travel. If the new reservation has an increased cost of more than $1,000 per ticket (possible but unlikely) the traveler will then be charged for the additional amount.
